Development in Southeast Asia. Explained.

I created this site, which aims to list the most salient roadblocks to economic development within countries that lie in Southeast Asia, and provides a list of recommendations to the various levels or channels of governmental bodies on their role in how to address each issue, along with justifications based on precedents where the same or similar approach has been successful in the past if relevant. After spending time in Singapore and Timor-Leste over the past year, and researching the threats to democracy across the world, I feel a centralised hub of all the major threats and mitigation strategies across this region will prove useful to democratic advocacy groups and other scholars looking to research a similar topic.

In a best-case scenario, maybe some of the governmental bodies mentioned in the final site will take a few good notes 🙂
